Abilene Dragstrip
is a 1/8 mile drag strip in located in Abilene, Texas. We are
located just west of Abilene on Interstate 20, easily accessible from the
Abilene area, Dyess Air Force Base, Interstate 20 and Hwy 277. We
are centrally located in west Texas, approximately 180 miles
west of Fort Worth on I-20

We are a full
service racing facility that caters to the drag race fan as well as
the participant. We feature excellent covered seating,
state-of-the-art timing equipment, paved parking, lighting and on
site fuel sales along with other amenities.
In 2004, Abilene Dragstrip was voted
IHRA's Sportsman Track of the Year.
We are an IHRA Sanctioned Facility
The track elevation is 1719 feet above sea level.

Our track
features an all concrete racing surface, including the burnout area. Over 2000'
of concrete barricades line both sides of the track, enhancing safety, reducing the effects of crosswinds and
reducing the chance for debris to enter the racing surface. |

There are
over 10 acres of paved, lighted and striped pit parking. Fence
parking is deep for truck/trailer/race car while the middle lanes are
wide for motor home/big trailer/race car park beside. Spaces are
angled to ease entrance and exit from your pit space. |

There is covered seating for 500 on both
sides of the track. A professional sound system feeds the stands
and the parking areas with information, commentary and professionally
produced sponsor information broadcasts. |
| There are excellent views of the
entire track, starting line to the finish, from all seats. The
stands are handicap accessible with close by handicap parking. |

There are concessions
and facilities on both sides of the track. The pit side
concessions feature a covered eating area. |

Fuel is available on site.
We feature VP Racing Fuels.
We also have a nitrous filling station courtesy of
Nitrous
Express.

conditioned VIP suite with excellent views of the entire track.
