Sunday Results

Joe Collier "brackets" the weekend with a big win on Sunday to match his win in the Gamblers on Friday.  In the CSR Super Pro final, Joe staged up across from Ty Casey in a nearly heads up stand off.  Joe dialed 4.81and Ty was dialed 4.82.  Joe got the leave, hitting .018 on the tree against Ty's .049.  At the finish line, it was Joe in first with a 4.824 @ 142 and Ty as runner up, 4.824 at 143.
Luke Bogacki made it into the Winner's Circle again today, taking the win in DRR Sportsman in a squeaker with Abilene footbrake points leader Sambo Tyra.  Luke had the light with a .004 on the tree but gave the stripe to Sambo with a 6.45 on a 6.37 dial.  Sambo had a good .020 light and took the finish line first, only to break out with a 7.274 on a 7.28 dial.
Hey, where have we seen this guy before?  Dustin Douglas does the DRR double up with a second win in Race Tech Jr. Dragster.  Dustin was loaded and ready, posting a 8.961 on an 8.96.  Heath Kiser of Levelland went -.017 red on the start and had to settle for runner up and being Sunday's Jr. Run for the Money winner.  We think Dustin is buying dinner.
In spite of all the chevy guys trying to hide it, Mustangs ruled in DRR Trophy on Sunday.  Glenn Snow of Stamford got to park his in the Winner's Circle after defeating Clyde's Michael Stultz in the last round.  Glenn drove a 9.48 on a 9.43 for the win with Michael stopping his clocks at 9.42 on a 9.22 dial.

What good is a race truck if you can't haul stuff with it?  Looks like Maxey Chittum is using Bill Tate's
truck to drag the race trailer around town.
