Why fiddle with a cup when you can just drink it straight from the pot!  Sambo is ready for the early Sunday time trials.
SATURDAY 7/10 - REGULAR POINTS RACE
Dialing For Dollars: Cole Bracey won $225 in the Dial-4-Dollars jackpot.  Cole dialed 4.79 and ran 4.7911.  It was a squeaker of a win - Clayton Nance missed claiming the cash by .0007

A. J. Enterprizes Top ET: Saturday's Top final was over a little too quickly.  Actually, leaving too quick was Casey "Sandman" Longmire and that little red light gave the win to Clayton Nance.

Pinnacle Countertop Solutions Modified ET: It's a big T for Team Tailgate Tommy Wade, who took a terrific triumph in Mod ET.  In the second "win by red" of the night, Bill Simpkins of San Angelo went a teeny tiny -.0003 too quick to give up the win.  That's just tragic.

Longmire Plumbing Jr. Dragster: Morgan Fulgham of Abilene scored a win in Jr, using a dead on run to park Hanna Lisenbe of Joshua in second place.  Morgan was a bit slow on the tree with a .185 light but covered her dial with a 13.260 on a 13.26.  Hanna had a better .099 light but ran farther off the dial at 9.32 over a 9.18.  There were two classes left in the hat for the Mickey Thompson tire giveaway.  Jr and Modified were the classes left to award.  In the drawing to determine which class would win the Saturday pair of slicks, Morgan got the luck of the draw and laid claim to some fresh tires.
Rhino Linings of Abilene All Class Quick: BIlly Williams claimed the win in the thrid red light final round of Saturday night.  Cole Bracey of Lubbock went just -.002 red and handed the win over to Billy.
Pro Footbrake: Bryant Manning of Baird and Freddy Hillin of Clyde met up in the Pro Footbrake final.  Bryant scored a win with a .033 light and 7.47 on a 7.45 dial.  Freddy had a bit slower .086 light and broke out, running 6.81 under his 6.84 dial.
Max's Kawasaki Motorcycle: Donnie Oliver is tearing Motorcycle up, scoring another win in this week's race.  Bruce Sibert took the runner up spot today.  Donnie hit a .085 light and got there first with a 6.21 over a 6.18 dial.  Bruce had a better .057 reaction time but his 6.35 off a 6.25 dial gave Donnie room to finish first.
SUNDAY 7/11 - DOUBLE POINTS RACE RESULTS
Dialing For Dollars: Amber Rose got a $280 bonus by winning the Dial4Dollars round with a 4.810 on a 4.81 dial.

A. J. Enterprizes Top ET:  The Bracey Bunch celebrates in the Winner's Circle, with Drew and Kevin claiming wins in Top and Jr.  It was a drag race in the final with nearly identical reaction times and both cars off the dial about the same.  Kevin had a .012 light and ran 4.963 on a 4.94 for the win.  Billy had a .017 light and drive the Corvette to a 5.334 on a 5.31 dial.  That put them a hair more than .005 apart at the finish line.

Pinnacle Countertop Solutions Modified ET: Debbie Kelly of Merkel took home the win in Modified and scored a fresh set of Mickey Thompson slicks to go with that win sticker.  In the last round against Shane Pritchard of Hamlin, Debbie layed down the final round package of the weekend to take the win.  On the leave, she had a .0009 reaction time and finished up with a 7.636 on a 7.63 dial.  Shane had a decent .032 light but broke out, running just barely under his 6.47 dial with a 6.463.

Longmire Plumbing Jr. Dragster: Drew Bracey (see Top ET picture) got the better end of a double breakout final round, running againt Jalen Johnson of San Angelo.  Drew had a .212 light and clocked a 4.977 under a 4.98 to score the win.  Jalen went .271 on the tree and ran way far under at 7.82 on a 7.86. The Jr class was running 330' today because of the cross wind.
Rhino Linings of Abilene All Class Quick: The All Class Quick final was decided with a foot race. Kevin Bracey and Clayton Nance were the last one left in Quick.  Kevin Bracey was still in Top, so he and Clayton decided to just settle it on reaction time.  Kevin had the quick shoe and went red, handing the win to Clayton.
Pro Footbrake: You saw these two in Saturday's Modified final.  Bill Simpkins gave Tommy the win Saturday with a -.0003 light.   Both racers met up again Sunday in the Pro Footbrake final.  This time Bill stayed green and got the win.  Bill drove a 6.724 on a 6.71 with a killer .007 light.  Tommy went .044 on the tree with the truck running 7.64 on a 7.62 dial at the finish.
Max's Kawasaki Motorcycle: Donnie Oliver scored his second win of the weekend, when Stacy Calder went -.0004 red on the start.  To make things sting a bit more, Stacy then drove it out to a 6.027 on a 6.02.  Donnie had a .073 light and a 6.21 on a 6.18 pass.
