A. J. Enterprizes Top ET: The final for Top in race #1 was a real squeaker. Gary Jackson took the stripe first in the dragster, followed closely by Billy Williams. What is close? .0032 sounds pretty darn close! Gary used a .0065 light and a 5.09 on a 5.07 dial to get his win. Billy was closer to the dial with a 5.3019 pass over a 5.29 but a .018 light gave Gary just enough room to take the finish line. |

Pinnacle Countertop Solutions Modified ET: Chris Kelly of Merkel got the win in the first Modified race, with Sambo Tyra taking the runner up spot. Chris had a .033 light and the Falcon ran 8.17 5 on a 8.17 to put on a good show. Sambo left a little early with a -.011 red and ran a bit off with a 7.14 on a 7.12 dial. |

| Longmire Plumbing Jr. Dragster: Leslie Grissom Jr (top) from Odessa made his first visit of the day to the winner's circle, challenging local Jr. hot shoe Morgan Fulgham in the final. Grissom went .099 on the tree and ran 6.91 over his 6.84 dial. (no - not nitrous, they're running 330'!) Fulgham ran dead on the dial at 8.066 on a 8.06 but her .188 light gave Mr. Grissom enough advantage to get there first. |

| Rhino Linings of Abilene All Class Quick: BIlly Williams got his second visit to the winner's circle, in the same race, when he took the win in the All Run Quick class. Wynette Hudgins of Clyde had to settle for the runner up spot. BIlly got this one by .030 at the finish, hitting a .024 light and running 5.29 on a 5.27 dial. Wynette went .031 on the tree and also ran two off, clocking 4.98 over her 4.96 dial. |

| Pro Footbrake: San Angelo's Bill simpkins got the win in Pro Footbrake, with Chris Blackstock of Clyde taking second place. These goofballs split the pot, then dialed a heads up 9.00 and wop-woped it down the track. Bill broke out at 8.33 and dumped Chris to a worse 8.17. That was just weird guys! |
| Max's Kawasaki Motorcycle: The First motorcycle race was run during the first part of the second race and the second motorcycle race ran later during the second points race. Now that you're dialed in on the when, the first who will be Donnie Oliver with a win in the first go around. Donnie took out Iron Man Harry Goebel in the final lap. Donnie had a .088 light and a 6.27 on a 6.22 dial to get the win. Harry missed the tree with a .123 and ran 6.50 against a 6.47 dial. |
| Dialing For Dollars: Cade Johnson ran on with a 5 in his Jr to win the first Dial for Dollars round. |

A. J. Enterprizes Top ET: You're going to need Google Maps to follow this story. Leslie and Jeremy Smith of Lamesa drove to Lufkin to meet a guy from Louisana to pick up their new race car. Then the drove back here for the race. OK, I'll save you the trouble - that's 847 miles more or less. After a couple or thee test passes to get the suspension set up safely, Jeremy entered the second Top race. He must like the car, or the car likes him because here they are with a win first time out. A .021 light and a 6.35 on a 6.23 dial got it all done. Runner up Freddy Vinson of Tuscola had a rough last lap, with a .106 light and a 5.38 ET off his 5.35 dial. |

Pinnacle Countertop Solutions Modified ET: Tommy Wade of Abilene (top) took it on the front bumper in the first race when he went out first round, bought back and then went out second round. That would send some people straight to the house. Well, Tommy hung around for the second race and it payed off with a win in Modified and a win in Pro Footbrake. In the very last race of the night, Tommy handed Merkel's Chris Kelly his hat, slapping the tree with a .001 light and driving 7.609 on a 7.59 dial for the win. Chris managed a .043 light and ran 8.17 on an 8.15 dial for second place. Some more fun trivia - Tommy had a .019 light in the quarters and Chris had a .021 which earned Tommy the bye to the final by .002. Hey, looks like that Falcon ran 8.17 to win the first mod final, then ran 8.17 in the second final - apparently there's no problem with the car. |

| Longmire Plumbing Jr. Dragster: Hanna Lisenbe of Johsua (top) squared off against the first race Jr. winner Leslie Grissom in the double point Jr final round. Hanna got the job done, cutting a .035 light and running 5.92 against her 5.86 dial. Leslie ran closer to the dial with a 6.86 over his 6.84 but a .181 light put him too far behind at the finish to catch Hanna. |
| Rhino Linings of Abilene All Class Quick: All Class Quick was Deja-Vu all over again. Billy Williams got the win for the second time, with a .022 light and a 5.22 on a 5.20 dial. Wynette Hudgins took second again, with a .037 light and a bitty break out 4.927 under her 4.93 dial. |
| Pro Footbrake: Glen Snow of Stamford faced off with Tommy Wade in the Pro final. Glen gave it up at the line, going -.032 red. Oops! Tommy stayed green with a .039 light and ran a close 7.59 on a 7.58. Glean's truck ran 6.73 on a 6.69. |
| Max's Kawasaki Motorcycle: John Choate of Tuscola got in the way of Donnie Oliver's attempt at a double up finish by taking out Donnie in the final round of Motorcycle. John ran a close to the dial lap at 6.040 on a 6.03 with a .111 light for the win. Donnie wasn't much further off the dial, clocking a 6.182 on a 6.17 but his .166 light gave John plenty of room at the finish line. |
| Dialing For Dollars: Stu West won our second Dial for Dollars round. |
