A. J. Enterprizes Top ET: No drama at all in the Top final round - Rusty Rose of Levelland (far right) and Jeremy Smith of Lamesa (middle) decided to split. Both cars just lit the tree and backed out. Technically, Rusty won because he rolled through the lights first and his lane was the first to time out in the computer. Amber Rose is packed in here with the scruffy bunch familiy because Amber took the win in All Class Quick. |
| Rhino Linings of Abilene All Class Quick: Joe Collier took himself out of the All Class Quick final with a bitty -.004 red. Joe had to be quick or red because Amber was .003 off the line. They ran it all out anyway, with Joe driving 6.23 on a 6.25 dial and Amber clocking 4.85 on a 4.80 dial. Joe had been riding that 6.25 most of the day and doing pretty well with it. |

Pinnacle Countertop Solutions Modified ET: Chris Kelly of Merkel (top) took the win in Modified this week, squeeking across the line just in front of Jerry Ravenscroft at the stripe. Jerry has been just ripping up Modified, with back to back final round appreances. Chris had a bit of a window on the start with a .002 light to Jerry's .047. It the top end the Falcon scored 8.11 on an 8.10 dial with Jerry's Camaro just a hair farther off at 8.09 against an 8.06. |

| Longmire Plumbing Jr. Dragster: In the interest of safety because of the gusty wind, we shortened the Jr runs to 330' for today. Austin Green (Abilene - Top) put the WedWocket (you just have to love that name) in the Winner's Circle this week, defeating Hanna Lisenbe of Johsua on the last pass. Both racers left the line about the same, with Austin cutting a .072 light to Hanna's .073. Looks like Hanna got there first but ran a bit too quick, with the clocks showing 5.67 under he 5.72 dial. Austin ran a good race and ran very close to his dial, with his final number a 8.32 on an 8.30 dial. |

| Pro Footbrake:Sambo Tyra (top) took on Jason Brewer of Lubbock in the Pro Footbrake final lap. This was another won-on-the-start kinda of race, and it was Sambo out first with a .063 light to Jason's .095. At the finish line, it was Sambo taking the stripe with a 6.866 on a 6.85 dial to Jason's closer 6.500 on a 6.49. Sambo can use a .03 starting line advantage like a stick and he'll just beat you with it. |

Whitten Inn Street Money-: In the All Kennedy Street money final, Joe Kennedy (top) from Stephenville used a dead on 10.956 on a 10.95 to park Adam Kennedy of Early in the runner up position. Adam had the better light with a .088, but the red "rocket" only managed an 11.91 over its 11.80 dial. Joe wa a little late with a .129 light but a dead on run can sometime fix things in your favor. |

| Max's Kawasaki Motorcycle: Harry Goebel (top) looks like he might have won something. And he did! In the last round of Motorcycle, Harry stanged up against Bruce Siburt of Abilene. Harry had a great .022 light and posted 6.53 on a 6.43 dial for the win. Bruce was a little bit later leaving with a .171 and clocked 6.55 on a 6.19 for the runner up honors. |
| Dialing For Dollars: Joe McCauley hit the jackpot in the Dial for Dollars run with a 4.9006 on a 4.90 dial. You can get closer to a dial, but not by much! Joe scored $215 for the run. |
| $5 Jackpot #1: Larry Zientek gets the win over Greg Burkes. Burkes ran a close 10.72 on a 10.70 but missed the tree with a .255 light. Larry killed the tree with a .005 and ran 6.85 on a 6.80 dial to win. |
| $5 Jackpot #2: Dean Kennedy upset Stacey Calder in the final. Actually, it was Stacey that was upset because he went -.0009 red on the tree. Dean had a lazy .089 but the GTi did it's thing and went 9.159 on a 9.15 dial. |
| Mod Jackpot #1: Several drivers threw in for $20 and we had a race. Sambo Tyra took the first jackpot win with a 6.821 on a 6.83 and a .060 light. Roy Blackstock should have had Sambo dead to rights. Roy drove a great 6.281 on a 6.28 dial, but that -.012 red just killed the whole deal. |
| Mod Jackpot #2: In a classic "Here's $20, lets go again - I want my money back" kinda deal, it was Roy and Sambo in the final of the second jackpot race. This time the hot shoe was on the other foot with Roy killing the tree at .007 and running 6.291 on a 6.28 for the win. Sambo drove a dead on 6.831 on a 6.83 dial but a yawner .052 light hosed that deal. |
| Top ET Gamblers: In the wind swept Friday Gamblers, Joe Collier of Clyde took the win over Kelly Kiser of Levelland when Kelly went a mere -.01 red on the start. |
Modified Gamblers: Bobby Knox got the better of Smabo Tyra in the Friday Modified Gamblers and used a dead on 6.886 on a 6.88 to get it done. Bobby left with a .052 light to Sambo's .059 and at the finish Sambo broke out with a big 6.88 under a 6.,92 dial. |
